I went from a nervous nine-year-old who barely made my first select team to pitching at the college level - all because one of my coaches took the time to grow my skills by teaching me fundamentals the right way. But when I became a youth coach myself (even with years of playing experience and a degree in Physical Education) — I discovered just how chaotic and stressful coaching kids can be without support. I watched so many great volunteer coaches struggle because they lacked support and felt alone, like they had to “figure it out on their own”. I knew they deserved better.

I created Building Better Baseball to support the volunteer coaches who care deeply, but feel overwhelmed and underprepared. My mission is to help you feel confident, organized, and ready to give your players the same kind of foundation that changed my life - ultimately becoming the coach who transforms a kid’s entire baseball experience.
